OLD BRIDGE – A new multi-family building has been proposed for Route 34.
Brightpoint Housing LLC of Norwood is seeking a preliminary and final major site plan and waiver and / or waiver approvals to construct a 26 unit multi-family building at 46 Route 34.
According to demand, the residential building will consist of two floors of residential apartments above a parking lot on the ground floor. The 27-foot-tall building will feature two studio units, six one-bedroom units, six one-bedroom units with den and 12 two-bedroom units.
The project provides 47 parking spaces, which are required, including 26 spaces in the garage and 21 spaces above ground, one of which will be designated as a loading space. A leisure and leisure area on the roof is also available.
The property is located in the residential area of AF apartments and families, where the proposed use is permitted
A public hearing of the virtual planning council on the request is scheduled for Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
